Unity Developer – Surgical Training Simulator

About the role

We are looking for a Unity Developer to design and optimise interactive surgical training modules for a physics‑based robotic surgical simulator. The role focuses on C#‑driven training logic, soft‑body and deformable tissue interactions, custom shaders and real‑time physics on a PC platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interactive surgical training modules using Unity and C#.
• Implement instrument drills, multi‑step procedural workflows, scoring systems, checkpoints and completion logic.
• Design modular, reusable gameplay and simulation systems with clean architecture.
• Create soft‑body, deformable tissue and anatomical interaction systems, balancing realism with real‑time performance.
• Integrate physics‑driven interactions for surgical instruments, robotic components and environment objects.
• Maintain and optimise C# codebase, resolve performance, memory and integration issues.
• Collaborate with technical artists, 3D artists, simulation engineers and clinical SMEs.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of professional experience in Unity development.
• Strong ability to work in cross‑functional teams and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Experience delivering high‑fidelity, physics‑intensive simulations on PC.
