About the role
Recruit AI is seeking a detail‑oriented UK Accountant to manage bookkeeping, VAT returns, year‑end accounts and corporation tax for UK clients. The role is based in Hyderabad and operates during UK business hours, requiring regular interaction with HMRC.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare and submit UK VAT returns in line with HMRC deadlines.
- Compile year‑end accounts and statutory financial statements following UK accounting standards.
- Compute corporation tax obligations and assist with filings to Companies House.
- Communicate with HMRC to resolve tax queries promptly.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of hands‑on experience with UK bookkeeping, VAT and corporation tax.
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to work independently during UK business hours.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with VT Final Accounts or Capium accounting software.
