Travel Sales Executive – Promote Community‑Based Tours

About the role

The Travel Sales Executive will join GoVoyage’s mission‑driven team to market authentic, community‑based travel experiences. Working on‑site in Thiruvananthapuram, you will engage prospective guests via phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions, turning inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest inquiries and provide detailed information on travel packages and community stays.
• Design customized itineraries and prepare accurate quotations.
• Convert leads into confirmed bookings and maintain up‑to‑date customer records.
• Coordinate with local partners and internal teams to ensure correct availability, pricing and special offers.
• Follow up on leads, gather guest feedback and suggest improvements to sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate data entry in CRM and office tools.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer‑service orientation with proven lead conversion ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi and local languages.
• Ability to work on‑site in Thiruvananthapuram (and occasionally Kottayam), manage time effectively and collaborate with partners.
• Interest or background in travel, hospitality or community‑based tourism.
• Prior experience in travel sales or tourism is a plus, but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic experience using CRM software for email, data entry and booking management.
