Transportation Representative – AV

About the role

The Transportation Operations Center (TOC) is Amazon’s command hub for coordinating freight movement across multiple geographies. As a Transportation Representative (AV), you will act as the liaison between carriers, vendors, fulfillment centers and internal teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with external partners (carriers, vendors) and internal stakeholders (retail, finance, fulfillment centers) to resolve shipment exceptions.
• Research issues using internal tools and make real‑time decisions to keep deliveries on schedule.
• Pull and analyze data from various databases to generate ad‑hoc reports.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics that drive business results.
• Translate business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of logistics and supply‑chain processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and propose improvements.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude toward process optimisation and customer experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Access or similar database tools.
• Knowledge of SQL for data extraction.
