Transaction Management Business Analyst (T+1)

About the role

Capco is seeking a Transaction Management Business Analyst to support T+1 delivery within its securities services practice in Pune. The role involves analysing current and future‑state transaction management processes, documenting impacts and ensuring operational readiness across the trade lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document transaction management processes including matching, settlement instruction handling, exceptions, fails management and control points.
• Develop operational readiness artefacts such as runbooks, SOPs, exception workflows and Day 1/Day 2 preparation materials.
• Create business requirements, process maps, user stories and impact assessments for T+1 changes.
• Support testing activities by designing scenarios, validating coverage, logging defects and coordinating retests.
• Collaborate with SMEs across custody, settlements, asset servicing, FX, liquidity and client funding to assess dependencies and confirm business impacts.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, transaction management operations or post‑trade change delivery.
• Strong understanding of settlement flows, exception‑handling workflows and securities services operations.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, produce process documentation and facilitate stakeholder workshops.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with T+1/T+0 market infrastructure changes or regulatory initiatives is a plus.
