Training Specialist – Last Mile Operations

About the role

Amazon’s Last Mile learning team is looking for a Training Specialist to design and deliver training programs that boost employee competencies across its delivery stations. The role is on‑site and involves regular travel to support stations in meeting business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify knowledge gaps and intervene to meet business goals.
• Proactively recommend and implement training solutions for AMZL and EDSP stations.
• Track station performance and schedule pre‑emptive training interventions.
• Supervise structured learning metrics and oversee results for assigned territories.
• Manage live performance metrics end‑to‑end for the territory.
• Deliver learning sessions on new processes and quality management through classroom or digital platforms.
• Maintain data analysis and reporting using Excel.
• Ensure timely completion of new‑hire training, coaching, and performance‑improvement programs.
• Partner with operations leaders to audit stations, ensure process compliance, and close gaps immediately.
• Identify, certify, and develop learning coaches.
• Lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance.
• Drive quality and learning metrics and conduct chime or classroom sessions for stakeholders.

• Ability to stay up‑to‑date with latest training techniques, tools, and processes.
• Strong analytical mindset to monitor metrics and identify improvement opportunities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for content creation.
• Experience with AI‑based content creation tools.
• Effective email writing for stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and classroom training delivery.
