Trainer – Teacher Training & Capacity Building

About the role

The Trainer will support the Quality Support Program (QSP) by identifying training needs, designing and delivering teacher and school‑leader training, and providing on‑site coaching to improve school environments across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments at state, district and block levels.
• Develop and implement a district‑level training calendar for teachers, school heads and academic mentors.
• Deliver pedagogical, skill‑based, leadership and co‑scholastic training sessions.
• Visit schools to provide on‑the‑job support and mentorship.
• Analyze training impact and maintain comprehensive training documentation.
• Coordinate with DIETs and SCERTs for content creation and capacity‑building workshops.
• Provide refresher training for academic mentors and proactively extend academic support to the team.

Required profile

• B.Ed. (mandatory); postgraduate degree preferred.
• 10–12 years of experience in teaching, teacher training or mentoring.
• Experience working on government education projects is desirable.
• Fluency in the local language (read, write, speak).
