Test Lead – Embedded Systems & Test Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Test Lead to drive end‑to‑end testing strategy for embedded Linux and RTOS based products. The role combines test leadership, automation roadmap definition, and hands‑on contribution to test automation for embedded and HMI/Web layers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own test planning, estimation, scheduling and reporting across multiple parallel projects.
• Establish quality gates, acceptance criteria and release‑readiness metrics such as coverage, defect trends and stability.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, development and DevOps teams to align quality goals.
• Drive the automation roadmap, decide what and when to automate, and ensure maintainable test code.
• Develop and review automation scripts for embedded firmware, applications and HMI/Web components.
• Set coding standards, branching strategy, test design patterns, logging and reporting mechanisms.
• Mentor test engineers, conduct code reviews and enforce reliability and repeatability of automated tests.
• Lead system validation for Embedded Linux firmware/applications and Embedded RTOS components, covering services, networking, IPC, security and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading test activities for embedded software projects.
• Strong understanding of risk‑based testing and release readiness assessment.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with development, DevOps and product teams.
• Experience mentoring and coaching test engineers.
