Territory Account Manager

About the role

The Territory Account Manager will drive sales of Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision cataract products across the Tirunelveli territory. You will be responsible for promoting phaco equipment, intra‑ocular lenses and visco‑elastics to surgeons, eye clinics and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for the full JJSV product portfolio.
• Systematically cover all surgeons in the assigned territory according to segmentation criteria.
• Deliver focused sales presentations and in‑service training to ensure correct product usage.
• Monitor market dynamics, tender opportunities and hospital purchasing patterns.
• Provide regular field activity reports using the online tool and communicate market feedback to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MedTech or pharmaceutical sales, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with doctors, key opinion leaders, distributors and internal teams.
• Excellent time and territory management, with a results‑driven mindset.
• Commitment to environmental policies and corporate values.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of cataract surgical products (phaco equipment, intra‑ocular lenses, visco‑elastics).
• Ability to conduct product training and in‑service demonstrations.
