Telecom Billing Specialist & Operations Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Telecom Billing Specialist / Operations Engineer to ensure reliable execution of end‑to‑end telecom billing and payment operations. You will collaborate with engineering, product, finance and external partners to deliver an excellent customer billing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor trial and production billing cycles, manage monthly bill generation, distribution and daily payment collection.
• Handle billing adjustments, investigate disputes, coordinate with debt collection agencies and ensure SLA compliance across the billing lifecycle.
• Support testing and release activities, create operational work requests, and participate in 24×7 on‑call rotation for critical issues.
• Analyze customer feedback and payment trends, publish operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of experience in telecom billing operations or a similar operational role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of telecom billing processes and Oracle Communications BRM.
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases and Linux/Unix environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
