Telecaller – Donor Relations

About the role

The organisation is seeking a motivated Telecaller to support its donor relations efforts. You will be the voice of the NGO, informing supporters about its mission, projects and funding needs while building lasting relationships through telephone outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Explain the NGO’s mission, ongoing projects and funding requirements to potential donors.
• Make outbound calls to donors and respond to inbound queries, feedback and concerns.
• Provide accurate and timely information, ensuring a high level of donor satisfaction.
• Coordinate donor‑focused programmes and events, assisting with logistics and follow‑up.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the CRM and related tracking sheets.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within the team to achieve outreach targets.

Required profile

• Clear, polite verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a customer‑service mindset.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and record keeping.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced call‑center environment.
