Technology Analyst – SAP Data Migration

About the role

The Technology Analyst – SAP Data Migration will join Airbus’s Industrial Management (IM) digital transformation team in Bangalore. Working in an agile squad, the analyst will design, develop and maintain SAP BODS, Information Steward and migration tools to support the migration of legacy ERP data into Airbus’s new central ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data extraction, transformation and loading processes using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
• Implement and support SAP Information Steward for data quality monitoring.
• Develop and maintain migration scripts with SNP Kyano Crystalbridge and Kyano Move tools.
• Perform S/4HANA data loading using BAPI, IDoc and DMC methodologies.
• Create and run HANA SQL queries for data validation and logging.
• Administer the BODS platform to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate with international, cross‑functional teams following Scrum/Agile practices.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by delivering solutions within short time‑to‑market cycles.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in IT, engineering, applied mathematics or related field.
• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience with SAP BODS.
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA data migration and data quality tools.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA, BW, SLT and related landscapes.
• Knowledge of SNP Kyano Crystalbridge migration tool.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
