Technician – Fitter/Welder (7-8 yrs experience)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Technician – Fitter/Welder to assemble, install, and maintain metal structures and equipment. The role involves performing welding tasks, ensuring quality, and complying with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting tasks according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Operate MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding machines.
• Assemble and install mechanical components and structures.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair of welding tools and equipment.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces to ensure quality and safety.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required profile

• ITI certification in Fitter/Welder or equivalent trade.
• Minimum 7 to 8 years of hands‑on welding and fitting experience.
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
