Lead Auditor - QMS

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Lead Auditor – QMS to lead and execute quality management system audits for our clients in India. The role involves planning, conducting, and reporting audits while ensuring compliance with BV standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits in line with ISO 19011, the Bureau Veritas Management System and the BVC India Operations Manual.
• Stay updated on the latest regulatory requirements and technologies relevant to the sectors under audit.
• Manage the full audit cycle efficiently, from planning through reporting.
• Coordinate with the audit team leader and technical functions to ensure audit qualifications and reporting meet LTO standards.
• Report any unexpected situations, such as time constraints, audit cancellations or disputes, to the reporting line and back‑office.
• Maintain and protect company assets, including laptops and accessories.
• Submit travel and expense statements promptly.
• Support the sales team by forwarding relevant business leads.

• Proactive self‑learning to keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments.
• Strong time‑management skills to handle audit schedules and reporting deadlines.
