Technical Solution Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Solution Support Specialist to join our Sandvik Innovation Hub in Pune. The role provides advanced first‑ and second‑level support for our Tool Flow Solutions portfolio, covering both on‑premise and SaaS deployments. You will work closely with customers across APAC and collaborate with global development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st‑ and 2nd‑level technical assistance for TFS hardware and software, diagnosing and resolving incidents in a structured, traceable manner.
• Perform remote and on‑site troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and consulting activities.
• Install, configure and commission TFS cloud and on‑premise solutions, including Windows licensing, driver setup and customer‑specific settings.
• Provide customer training on hardware operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Execute QA testing, validate bug fixes, and support development teams with integration of new hardware models.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or field service for industrial software/hardware.
• Strong customer orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and work independently.
• Structured problem‑solving mindset and ability to document actions and outcomes.
• Willingness to travel for on‑site installations and support within the APAC region.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with TDM, GlobalLine, ToolHive and CribWise solutions.
• Proficiency in Windows operating system configuration, driver installation and licensing.
• Understanding of SaaS and on‑premise deployment models.
• Ability to perform QA validation and support software bug‑fix cycles.
