Technical Project Management Specialist – Data Architecture

About the role

Based in Hyderabad, you will join MSD’s Technology Center to lead the Decommission, Retire and Archive Center of Excellence (DRACOE) initiatives, guiding product owners and technical teams in designing and implementing active data management solutions that meet governance and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, application and engineering teams to define and deliver active data management solutions, including archiving infrequently accessed data.
• Design extraction, transformation, and integration strategies, optimize storage utilization, and drive automation of data pipelines.
• Establish and enforce data retention, archival, and disposal policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Represent DRACOE in technical and business discussions, providing guidance on data flow, architecture, and reporting frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in data architecture, engineering, or integration on enterprise data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in large‑scale environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a matrixed, multi‑stakeholder setting.
