Technical Product Owner – CRM Data Change & Security Governance

About the role

The Technical Product Owner – CRM Data Change & Security Governance will lead the governance and delivery of platform‑impacting data changes within Dynamics 365 and related Power Platform tools. You will ensure that business realignments and data updates follow a consistent, repeatable, and well‑documented process while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate a standard intake process for data‑change requests affecting the CRM platform and Dataverse‑powered tools.
• Translate approved requests into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria and maintain a prioritized backlog.
• Maintain a roadmap of data‑change initiatives, tracking status, risks, owners, milestones and decision points.
• Coordinate cross‑functional meetings on data changes, security updates, migration readiness and release planning.
• Analyse impact on Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, security roles, integrations and reporting.
• Document data flows, dependencies, business rules and validation requirements.
• Support security governance by ensuring changes comply with data quality, ownership and security standards.

Required profile

• Strong experience managing data‑change governance in a CRM environment.
• Proven ability to work with global and regional operations, platform owners, architects and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Ability to prioritize work based on impact, risk and technical complexity.
