Technical Product Manager (PMT)

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Technical Product Manager (PMT) to own the roadmap and backlog for the Authorization Decisioning product within its Decision Management program. You will work at the intersection of product marketing and engineering, helping to protect millions of transactions from fraud while delivering fast, data‑intensive services at global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product marketing and engineering partners to define a shared product roadmap and detailed, development‑ready backlog.
• Deeply understand business drivers, use cases, and technical architecture across Mastercard’s decision‑making ecosystem.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable tasks for software engineering teams.
• Maintain alignment with cross‑functional teams on dependencies, runtime operations, and support strategies.
• Drive continuous learning about the product’s APIs, data flows, and micro‑service environment.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Curious, analytical mindset with a strong desire to understand why and how systems work.
• Technically savvy, preferably with a background in software or data engineering.
• Highly organized, able to convert abstract inputs into concrete, iterative actions using tools like JIRA, Rally or Asana.
