Technical Manager – Cleaning Goods Services

About the role

The Technical Manager will provide technical support for Nouryon's Cleaning Goods portfolio across the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. You will act as the bridge between customers, distributors and internal teams, delivering solutions that showcase the value of our products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of Nouryon product benefits versus competitors and generate supporting data.
• Design experiments, conduct laboratory work and create solutions to meet customer challenges and technical targets.
• Monitor customer needs, patent literature, market trends and test new applications and formulations.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to implement application programs and develop local initiatives.
• Deliver technical training to customers, distributors and sales teams.
• Present technical seminars and workshops to promote products and technologies.
• Support new product introductions through product development and application support.
• Provide application support and joint sales visits to key markets.
• Coordinate information sharing with global technical teams and stay current on industry developments.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree (MSc or PhD) in Chemistry, Polymers or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in household cleaning, fabric care or I&I cleaning industries.
• Proven experience in application development for homecare/I&I products, either at an end‑user or chemical supplier.
• Strong desire to acquire technical knowledge and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cultures.
