Team Lead – Operations

About the role

Amazon is seeking a proactive Team Lead for its Operations team in Karnataka. You will manage a shift, coordinate information flow across multiple stakeholders, and ensure smooth resolution of issues that affect customer experience and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a shift team, continuously identifying and implementing performance improvements.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics to drive business results.
• Analyze trends, make data‑backed decisions, and communicate findings.
• Interact with external partners (carriers, vendors) and internal teams (finance, fulfillment centers).
• Escalate and resolve operational variances and problems.
• Extract data from databases and produce ad‑hoc reports using Excel, Access, SQL or similar tools.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of logistics, warehousing or manufacturing environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• 1+ years of experience in a customer‑facing logistics or manufacturing role (3+ years preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
