Team Lead – Line Haul Operations

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Team Lead to manage its Line Haul transportation network. You will guide a team of Transportation Associates, work closely with carriers, site operations and the Network Operations Center to ensure on‑time arrival of line‑haul vans and maintain high performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage carrier relationships, onboarding, and performance metrics.
• Monitor daily network performance, investigate exceptions, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan capacity, conduct TU analysis, and right‑size vehicle fleets.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives to reduce breakdowns, delays, and in‑transit losses.
• Collaborate with site leadership on quality, safety, and customer‑experience metrics.
• Ensure compliance with GPS, registration, background‑check, and safety programs.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent in spoken, written and read English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
