Team Lead – Application Development (Web, AI & ML)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Team Lead to head a group of around 30 AI Engineers and Full‑Stack Developers at Bosch’s largest software centre in India. The role combines technical leadership with people management to deliver high‑quality, customer‑facing web and AI/ML solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team of AI engineers and full‑stack developers.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Allocate resources, balance workloads and assign projects across multiple customer engagements.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Act as primary liaison between the team and external stakeholders, including customers.
• Provide architectural guidance on AI/ML and full‑stack initiatives and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Enforce best practices such as code quality, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 8–12 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
• Full‑Stack development: modern front‑end frameworks (React, Angular) and back‑end technologies (Python, Java, Node.js).
• Software architecture and technical design.
• Project delivery and customer‑facing software project management.
