Tax Technology Consultant – Oracle EBS (Multiple Cities)

About the role

Join Deloitte's Tax Technology Consulting team to help US‑based clients modernize their tax functions using Oracle EBS and related technologies. You will work across major Indian locations, collaborating with clients to design, implement and test tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client workshops to gather tax requirements.
• Document requirements and perform system fit and gap analysis.
• Advise clients on tax department strategy, policy and governance.
• Identify process improvements, redesign tax departments and evaluate automation opportunities.
• Design and develop tax solutions on Oracle platforms.
• Lead user acceptance testing, compile test scenarios and recommend enhancements.

Required profile

• Masters/Bachelor’s in Engineering, Finance, Accounts or equivalent from a reputed university.
• MBA or Chartered Accountant with experience in finance, accounting, taxation and auditing.
• 3‑6 years of experience with Oracle EBS finance modules or Oracle Financials Cloud modules impacting tax.

Required skills

• Oracle EBS finance modules (E‑Business Tax, Withholding Tax, Trading Community Architecture, Order Management, iStore, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, iExpense, Accounts Payable, Supplier Master, iSupplier Portal, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, General Ledger, Oracle BI).
• Oracle ERP Cloud tax module.
• Financial consolidation tools such as Hyperion.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
