Tax Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Planner to join our product team and help design, develop, and maintain tax‑related tools and services. The role bridges tax expertise with technology, ensuring our solutions stay compliant with the Income Tax Act while delivering value to members and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the product team in designing tax tools, defining logic, and providing tax‑related inputs.
• Test tax‑related developments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Deliver tax planning solutions for members/clients in line with the Income Tax Act.
• Coordinate with qualified experts for advanced tax planning for individuals.
• Monitor updates to tax laws and incorporate changes into tools and filing services.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in ITR filing and tax consultation (post‑articleship).
• Strong communication skills to convey tax concepts to developers and designers.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product and technical teams.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of ITR forms (ITR 1‑4) and related calculations.
• Basic familiarity with ITR filing software available in the market.
• Intermediate understanding of the Income Tax Act, especially for individuals and HUFs.
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
