Tax Consultant – Transfer Pricing (Kolkata)

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join our Kolkata team, focusing on transfer pricing and related tax compliance matters. The role involves supporting clients with tax filings, advisory work and representation before authorities while contributing to the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual tax returns and e‑TDS returns for clients.
• Draft submissions and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Advise on inbound and outbound structuring of employee movements, including immigration and provident‑fund considerations for expatriates.
• Collaborate with senior tax professionals to deliver comprehensive tax solutions and ensure work is completed according to firm methodologies.
• Utilise electronic working papers and relevant software to conduct research, analyse data and produce accurate tax advisory or compliance products.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and uphold professional standards.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 0‑1 year of relevant tax or finance experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with good numerical ability.
• Enthusiastic self‑starter and effective team player.
