Tax Consultant – Global Compliance & Reporting

About the role

EY is seeking a Tax Consultant to join its Global Compliance & Reporting team in Pune. You will support client engagements by delivering tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring high‑quality outcomes and adherence to regulatory timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual tax returns and e‑TDS returns for clients.
• Draft submissions and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Advise on outbound/inbound structuring, immigration, and provident‑fund matters for expatriates.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive tax solutions and maintain professional standards.
• Utilise electronic working papers and relevant software to conduct research and produce accurate tax deliverables.
• Stay updated on tax regulations and apply knowledge to moderately complex cases.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and uphold EY’s quality guidelines.

Required profile

• CA certification (0‑1 year of relevant experience).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with solid numerical ability.
• Enthusiastic self‑starter and effective team player.
• Good attention to detail and time‑management capabilities.
