Talent Vendor Management Strategy Lead – Vice President

About the role

Barclays is seeking a senior leader to drive the evolution of its Talent function by building and managing strategic vendor relationships. The Talent Vendor Management Strategy Lead will shape resourcing strategies, enhance vendor experience and ensure effective end‑to‑end processes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor Management Information (MI) for existing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with quality and control standards.
• Create service level agreements and drive service improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with stakeholder groups to align vendor services with business objectives and client needs.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation activities, strengthening controls and governance.
• Advise senior leadership on functional and cross‑functional impacts, providing analytical solutions and strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Demonstrated people leadership and ability to partner with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Extensive experience in procurement/sourcing within HR, including third‑party and RPO vendor management.
• Strong business and commercial acumen with the ability to work in a global, matrixed environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, capable of analysing data and developing innovative solutions.
