Talent Acquisition Specialist – Engineering

About the role

Bitwarden, the trusted identity security leader, is building an India Engineering Center of Excellence. We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to help build and scale a high‑performing engineering organization that works seamlessly with our global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle from kickoff to onboarding.
• Partner with engineering leaders and hiring managers to define hiring needs and sourcing strategies.
• Recruit for product engineering and technology roles including software engineering, QA, DevOps, SRE, platform, cloud, data, security, AI/ML and product positions.
• Manage both high‑volume hiring and niche technical searches.
• Build talent pipelines using sourcing platforms, referrals, networking and direct search techniques.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience and drive engagement throughout the process.
• Conduct recruiter screenings to assess technical fit, motivation, communication and cultural alignment.
• Track recruitment metrics such as pipeline health, time‑to‑fill, offer acceptance and hiring quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve hiring processes and meet hiring goals.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and reports in the ATS.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of IT talent acquisition experience.
• Proven track record recruiting for product engineering, SaaS or high‑growth technology organizations.
• Experience hiring across software engineering and technology functions.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions across seniority levels.
• Demonstrated success in both volume hiring and hard‑to‑fill niche roles.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Excellent interviewing, negotiation and candidate engagement capabilities.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably Greenhouse.
• High sense of urgency, execution excellence and passion for building world‑class engineering teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, Naukri, GitHub and X‑Ray Search.
• Proficiency with ATS tools, specifically Greenhouse.
