Systems Administrator (Infrastructure)

About the role

This is a hybrid Systems Administrator position focused on infrastructure management. The role requires on‑site presence on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and works a 6 AM‑3 PM IST shift. You will be responsible for the health and operation of Windows and Linux servers, VMware, Azure, network switching and backup systems.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain virtual server environments across VMware and Azure, including host and guest management.
• Manage Azure cloud services, monitor capacity, and ensure cost‑efficient operation.
• Maintain Cisco and Aruba network switching and wireless infrastructure.
• Perform firmware and OS patching for physical compute, storage, network hardware and virtualisation platforms.
• Oversee server and endpoint patching cycles and track completion.
• Operate backup and recovery infrastructure, investigate failures and confirm data recoverability.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of systems and infrastructure administration experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMware and Microsoft Azure.
• Proven ability to work independently, set priorities and drive tasks to completion.
• Fluent written and spoken English with clear communication for non‑technical staff.
