System Administrator L2 – New Delhi

About the role

We are looking for a proactive System Administrator L2 to join our IT team in New Delhi. The role involves managing Linux/Unix environments, ensuring system stability, and providing second‑level support for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of Linux/Unix servers (CentOS, Red Hat).
• Maintain system security, perform regular patching and vulnerability assessments.
• Resolve user incidents and service requests, applying L2 troubleshooting techniques.
• Design, implement, and test backup and recovery procedures.
• Monitor system performance and generate reports using monitoring tools.
• Develop scripts or small programs to automate routine tasks.
• Collaborate with the Help Desk to train staff on system usage and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead minor projects.
