System Administrator

About the role

Boutiqaat is seeking a proactive System Administrator to keep its IT environment running smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring that desktops, printers, networks and security systems operate without interruption.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems quickly and efficiently.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including account creation, access rights and device provisioning.
• Maintain Windows environments, Active Directory, group policies, DNS and DHCP.
• Apply updates, patches and routine maintenance while monitoring system performance.
• Handle backups, basic data restoration and disaster‑recovery tasks.
• Support LAN/WAN connectivity, VPNs and troubleshoot network issues.
• Enforce IT security policies, endpoint protection and monitor for vulnerabilities.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation and support CCTV/surveillance systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance and service contracts.
• Travel to regional sites to support kiosks, POS terminals and handheld devices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support, help‑desk or similar technical roles.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple requests.

• Exposure to firewalls, endpoint security and VOIP.
