Supply Chain QC Executive

About the role

The Supply Chain QC Executive leads shift quality operations in a food production plant, ensuring that potatoes and finished chips meet strict quality standards while minimizing waste and customer complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that potatoes issued for production meet specification standards and conduct Cook tests to assess color, defects, and greening.
• Perform regular online quality checks on processing equipment (peelers, fryers, slicers, conveyors) and monitor key operating parameters.
• Execute analytical tests such as Hunter Color, oil quality (FFA, OV, PV), and seasoning levels, and decide on corrective actions.
• Maintain GMP, GHK GLP, HACCP, AIB, and other internal/external audit compliance.
• Train and develop quality checkers, record dwell times, and communicate picker requirements to the Agro department.
• Document test results, compare them against gold‑standard charts, and recommend oil blend adjustments.
• Provide feedback to operators and shift in‑charge on corrective measures and process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food‑industry quality control or supply‑chain quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GHK GLP, HACCP, and food safety audit procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues quickly and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent attention to detail and capability to train junior staff.
