Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner will drive demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply planning to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Procurement to improve forecast accuracy, optimise stock levels, and support production schedules in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse historical sales, market trends and seasonal patterns to generate accurate demand forecasts using AI‑based tools.
• Monitor forecast performance metrics (e.g., MAPE) and support monthly/quarterly planning cycles with sales and business teams.
• Plan inventory and supply to maintain optimal stock while avoiding stock‑outs and overstocking.
• Align supply plans with production schedules and ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for inventory movement, replenishment and health monitoring across locations.
• Collaborate with vendors to track deliveries, resolve disruptions and improve performance.
• Maintain planning data and system parameters in ERP/WMS platforms such as Zoho, ensuring data accuracy.
• Generate reports and dashboards to track supply chain performance, inventory status and KPI trends.
• Identify bottlenecks, support automation initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in cross‑functional planning meetings and contribute to scalable forecasting frameworks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
• Strong understanding of demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory and production planning processes.
• Proven analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities with large data sets.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with sales, finance, operations and procurement teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP/WMS platforms such as Zoho.
• Proficiency in Power BI and AI‑based forecasting applications.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with supply chain analytics tools.
