Supply Chain Manager – Planning & Supplier Operations

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead end‑to‑end planning for overseas direct materials and CKD kits, ensuring smooth supplier onboarding, production ramp‑up, and uninterrupted material flow. This position works closely with cross‑functional teams to drive on‑time delivery and support new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Own supply chain planning for overseas direct materials, CKD kits and critical components.
• Drive supplier onboarding, qualification and readiness in partnership with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Lead supplier production ramp‑up and capacity planning for new products and volume scale‑up.
• Manage demand, supply, purchase order planning and order execution to keep production running.
• Monitor supplier schedules, shipment readiness and material flow to ensure on‑time availability.
• Coordinate with Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance and Quality teams.
• Track purchase orders, inventory, open orders and supply risks; resolve shortages proactively.
• Handle import coordination, shipment tracking and documentation with logistics partners.
• Maintain accurate ERP master data and supplier records.
• Develop MIS dashboards and reports using advanced Excel techniques.
• Present supply chain performance updates to leadership using PowerPoint.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in supply chain management, supply planning or procurement operations.
• Proven experience in supplier onboarding, ramp‑up and production readiness.
• Hands‑on experience with international suppliers, especially in China or Southeast Asia.
• Background in automotive, EV, industrial manufacturing or high‑volume assembly.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
