Supply Chain Management – Procurement Operations Specialist

About the role

The role is responsible for end‑to‑end procurement operations supporting Tata Electronics' semiconductor foundry. You will ensure accurate purchase requisitions, manage purchase orders and collaborate with suppliers to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate and process purchase requisitions, ensuring technical specifications, pricing, quantity and delivery requirements are accurate.
• Create, release and manage Purchase Orders in SAP/Ariba, overseeing the full PO lifecycle from approval to closure.
• Monitor open orders, follow up on delivery commitments and coordinate goods receipt to avoid supply disruptions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to manage schedules, resolve constraints, negotiate terms and expedite critical deliveries.
• Lead supplier discussions related to delivery commitments, payment terms, order prioritisation and expediting requirements.
• Administer supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, service level agreements and warranty requirements.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Finance and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and goods receipt issues.
• Track and report procurement performance metrics such as on‑time delivery, supplier responsiveness and order cycle time.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of supply chain issues and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives within the Procure‑to‑Pay process.
• Prepare periodic procurement reports and dashboards for stakeholder and management reviews.
