Supply Chain – Global Constraints Manager

About the role

The Global Constraints Manager is responsible for developing the current status of demand and supply for global shared constraints, creating summary reports, and driving decisions to meet build requirements across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the current status of demand and supply for any global shared constraints and produce commodity summary reports.
• Collaborate with SCM, Purchasing, STA, and suppliers to identify interim support plans that meet build requirements.
• Work with Sales and Scheduling to manage demand when interim plans are insufficient.
• Lead Global Constraints forums (GCAC) to allocate shared constraints and communicate allocations across regions.
• Provide Operation Planning and Scheduling teams with availability of constrained commodities prior to final production plan approval.
• Develop allocation plans for constrained commodities and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure parts are ordered and delivered per allocation.

Required profile

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage pressure situations.
• B.E/B.Tech plus MBA with 15+ years of experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain.
• Good understanding of and working relationships with a global supply base.
• Extensive collaboration experience with global cross‑functional teams and executive reporting on a weekly basis.
