Subject Expert – Painting & Commercial Art (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Painting and Commercial Art (National Curriculum) to join our education group on a contractual/retainer basis. The role is remote, with occasional travel to partner schools for training and support activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic support to partner schools and assist with curriculum development.
• Create, develop, and maintain curriculum documents aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Design and deliver training sessions for school staff.
• Develop lesson plans, question papers, and sample papers per school requirements and CBSE guidelines.
• Conduct lesson observations, micro‑teaching sessions, and provide structured feedback.
• Organise and lead master classes or workshops for students and staff, both virtually and in‑person.
• Communicate effectively with diverse audiences and present content using ICT and non‑ICT tools.

Required profile

• Educational qualification: B.Ed or Ph.D. in Painting/Art.
• Preferably experienced at Head of Department level in a reputed school.
• Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills.
• Proactive initiative, able to manage deliverables independently and follow up with team members.
• Willingness to travel to partner schools as needed.
• Successful background verification.
