Styling Assistant / Fashion Consultant (Retail)

About the role

Rent An Attire is seeking a dynamic Styling Assistant / Fashion Consultant to join its Dehradun retail store. The role focuses on helping clients choose and style luxury ethnic outfits for weddings and special events while supporting daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in selecting and styling outfits for weddings, receptions, cocktail parties, and other special occasions.
• Provide personalized styling recommendations and ensure a seamless in‑store experience.
• Work towards achieving individual and store sales targets through effective styling and customer engagement.
• Maintain attractive visual merchandising displays and present outfits appealingly.
• Manage outfit availability, track inventory movement, and coordinate returns and maintenance.
• Handle bookings, rentals, fittings, and delivery coordination for clients.
• Support day‑to‑day store operations, including trial management and client follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Passion for fashion styling and luxury ethnic wear.
• Strong client handling and communication skills.
• Understanding of fashion trends, colour coordination, and styling.
• Experience in retail fashion, boutique, or styling roles preferred.
• Ability to manage sales targets and nurture customer relationships.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising.
