Structural Designer – Industrial Concrete Buildings

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Designer to lead the design of large‑scale industrial concrete buildings. You will create detailed 3D models, develop connection details, and produce construction drawings for RCC structures, supporting projects that shape resilient cities and environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and model industrial concrete (RCC) buildings, including steel stairs and anchor bolt connections.
• Develop detailed connection, shear, and anchorage details using 3D modeling tools.
• Generate construction drawings, elevations, sections, and general arrangements from 3D models.
• Extract material take‑offs (MTO) and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure design compliance and constructability.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–15 years of experience in structural design of industrial concrete buildings.
• Proven ability to work on large‑scale projects and coordinate across disciplines.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
