Stores Officer

About the role

The Stores Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory across all locations, ensuring efficient stock control and compliance with company standards. This role involves daily cycle counts, quarterly physical inventories, and acting as Shift In‑Charge to guarantee smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy location‑wise and enforce proper stock control.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and support quarterly physical inventory activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to the FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
• Monitor and review stock reports regularly.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of Free‑of‑Cost (FOC) and subcontracting materials.
• Prepare and share material shortage reports with stakeholders.
• Submit daily FOC stock declarations to customers and maintain related documentation.
• Manage rejection material disposal according to company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
• Utilize SAP for inventory and store management activities.
• Maintain professional communication and coordination with customers.
• Use MS Office applications for reporting and data analysis.
• Implement and sustain 5S practices within the store area.
• Plan and optimise store space utilisation through proper storage calculations.
• Act as Shift In‑Charge, coordinating with production, planning, procurement, and logistics teams.
• Uphold company safety, quality, and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory or store management.
• Familiarity with FIFO principles and regular stock reconciliation.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead a shift and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
