Store Cashier

About the role
We are looking for a Store Cashier to join our retail outlet “NEW SHOP 24h” in Jaipur. The role involves managing all checkout transactions, providing friendly service, and supporting daily store operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, card and digital payments accurately.
- Maintain the cash drawer, reconcile totals at shift end and prepare receipts.
- Greet customers, answer basic product and price queries, and handle returns, exchanges and discounts according to company policy.
- Coordinate with store staff on stock availability and report any issues.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized and compliant with safety standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; commerce or accounting training is a plus.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Integrity, punctuality and willingness to follow established processes.
