About the role

The Steward will join Kalpdrum Hospitality’s dining team in Surat, supporting smooth restaurant operations and delivering a welcoming guest experience. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on maintaining cleanliness, organizing service areas, and assisting both servers and kitchen staff throughout service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Keep dining and service areas clean, tidy, and well‑organized.
• Set up tables, service stations, and ensure all necessary utensils, glassware, and dishes are ready.
• Assist servers and kitchen staff with food and beverage service as needed.
• Clean, store, and manage dishes, glassware, and utensils following hygiene and safety standards.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and support basic food‑service tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient and enjoyable dining environment.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and communication abilities.
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage operations and hygiene/safety procedures.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light manual tasks.
• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
