Sterling OMS Mid Level Consultant

About the role

As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment. You will explore alternatives to recommended solutions through research, literature surveys and vendor evaluations, and build proof‑of‑concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design and deployment across projects.
• Conduct research, evaluate vendors and build POCs to validate alternative solutions.
• Create requirement specifications, define future processes and produce detailed functional designs.
• Configure solution requirements on IBM Sterling products, diagnose issues, seek clarifications and propose alternative solutions.
• Contribute to unit‑level and organizational initiatives to deliver high‑quality, value‑adding solutions to customers.

Required profile

• Ability to work with clients to identify business challenges and refine deliverables.
• Awareness of latest technologies and trends in supply chain management.
• Logical thinking, problem‑solving skills and strong collaboration abilities.
• Capability to assess current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest technology solutions.
• Knowledge of one or two industry domains relevant to supply chain.
