About the role
We are seeking a Statutory Audit Executive to lead audit engagements for limited and public limited companies. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting audits while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct statutory audits for limited and public limited entities, including group companies.
- Coordinate audit planning and reporting with internal teams and clients.
- Utilise audit software to develop and follow audit work programmes.
- Collect and analyse financial data to identify trends and risks.
- Perform general accounting tasks and finalise company accounts.
- Test the design and effectiveness of internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- Qualified CA or ACCA.
- Extensive experience in auditing limited and public limited companies.
- Familiarity with UK GAAP and IFRS (advantageous).
- Proven ability to work with audit software and manage audit work programmes.
Required skills
- Audit software proficiency.
- Financial data analysis.
