Staff Nurse – Patient Care & Clinical Support

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care within Apollo Hospitals, assessing health problems, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families throughout recovery. This role combines clinical duties with documentation and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms and maintain accurate patient records.
• Administer medications, treatments and perform point‑of‑care tests.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patients’ health status.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists and other staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide bedside care, operate medical equipment and ensure inventory availability.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• Academic record of first division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing, including patient assessment and care planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
