Sr. Software Engineer (Integrations)

About the role

Cohere Health is building AI‑driven solutions to streamline prior authorization and improve healthcare decision‑making. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Integrations team you will help create deterministic rules‑based and AI‑powered automation for the clinical intelligence platform.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the functional and technical roadmap, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact automation solutions.
• Support the technical design process, providing analysis for data‑driven decisions.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and services to maximize development efficiency.
• Design, develop, test, and deliver features for the cloud platform and web applications, covering database to frontend.
• Drive daily engineering releases 2‑4 times a month and perform production support duties 1‑2 times a year.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of full‑stack software development experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Passionate about building quality products and owning end‑to‑end development.
• Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver excellent user experiences.
• Ability to work onsite in Hyderabad and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java, Groovy, or Python.
• Experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Cloud development experience on AWS or Azure.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL stores (DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and unit testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest, Mocha, JUnit, Cucumber).
