Sr. Delivery Manager - Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Delivery Leader to drive a portfolio of technology projects within the life sciences and pharmaceutical sector. The role combines strategic oversight, client‑facing leadership, and deep domain knowledge to ensure successful, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of multiple IT projects, managing roadmaps, resources, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (client, vendor, onshore) and resolve delivery issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, SDLC/Agile methodologies, and GxP requirements.
• Promote AI adoption within the project lifecycle and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Serve as primary contact for senior client stakeholders, providing transparent communication and executive‑level reporting.
• Mentor project managers, analysts, architects, developers, and QA teams to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Oversee vendor performance, contract adherence, and financial controls for the portfolio.

Required profile

• 15‑18 years of experience in IT project/program delivery, including large, multi‑project portfolios.
• Extensive background in Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals.
• Proven ability to manage enterprise technology initiatives such as digital transformation, cloud migration, data platforms, and application development.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency (B2) or higher.
