Sort Center Training Manager

About the role

Amazon is looking for a motivated Sort Center Training Manager to lead learning initiatives within its fulfillment network. The role combines hands‑on operational support with the development of training programs that ensure associates meet safety, quality and productivity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to associate feedback, support managers, and respond promptly to requests.
• Develop, update and deliver SOPs, visual aids, and training materials for sort‑center processes.
• Assist the Learning Manager in creating training plans for managers, trainers and new hires.
• Identify and groom potential ambassadors/trainers to expand the internal training pool.
• Lead a team of associates, ambassadors and trainers, tracking performance metrics and reporting gaps.
• Maintain accurate training records, track skill progression and manage documentation.
• Coordinate with operations to resolve production or scheduling conflicts.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Commitment to customer service and safety standards.
• Willingness to work multiple shifts and perform physical tasks such as loading, unloading and sortation.
• Excellent communication, approachable attitude and ability to lead by example.
