Solution Engineer - Quality, Laboratory & OT Systems

About the role

Envalior is looking for a Solution Engineer for its Quality, Laboratory and Operational Technology (OT) systems, based in Pune. The role acts as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor for a portfolio of laboratory, quality and manufacturing applications, with a primary focus on Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). It is an on-site position within the IT & Digital Services department.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the IT System Owner for Envalior's LIMS QA solutions and manage the lifecycle of laboratory and quality applications, including enhancements, upgrades, integrations and support.
• Keep platforms secure, stable and aligned with business needs, and act as the main escalation point for complex application and process issues.
• Work with Quality, R&T, Operations, Manufacturing, Digital Solutions Delivery and Technology Services teams worldwide to support existing solutions and find opportunities for automation and simplification.
• Understand Quality, R&T and OT processes and turn business challenges into scalable digital solutions.
• Propose innovative solutions, evaluate improvements to efficiency, data management and automation, and simplify the application landscape.
• Support sample management, laboratory workflows, testing and quality data management, and ensure good integration between laboratory, manufacturing and enterprise platforms.
• Promote best practices, support change management and user adoption, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field.
• Experience in application management, solution engineering, business analysis or similar digital roles, and in Quality, Manufacturing, Laboratory, R&T or OT environments.
• Experience in global, cross-functional organisations and in leading change and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Preferred: ZhuoMES, GUSLAB/LABSQ, Unilab, Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS, WinLIMS, Eschbach Shiftconnector, AssetWise, Credit360 and other quality, OT and R&T SaaS applications.
• Information architecture, application lifecycle management, systems integration, change management, technical project delivery and analytical problem solving.
