Software Engineer – WiFi Embedded Systems

About the role

Arista Networks is seeking a senior Software Engineer to join its WiFi Access Point team in Chennai. You will develop cutting‑edge, cloud‑managed WiFi solutions that power campus and data‑center environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver software for next‑generation WiFi Access Points.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and support teams to translate requirements into validated solutions.
• Track emerging WiFi technologies and propose innovations to differentiate Arista’s portfolio.
• Work on end‑to‑end development of the cloud‑managed WiFi product line, including feature design and customer deployment.
• Assist in resolving escalations and provide technical guidance to customers.

Required profile

• Strong engineering and Computer Science fundamentals.
• 6–15 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Experience developing applications or drivers in a Linux environment.
• Background in network device drivers, OS internals, kernels, or SOC architecture.
